Abstract

The article is devoted to the peculiarities of clinical course of dyscirculatory encephalopathy in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation. Clinical-and-instrumental data were analyzed and compared between patients with dyscirculatory encephalopathy associated with atrial fibrillation and patients with dyscirculatory encephalopathy due to hypertension and cerebral atherosclerosis without rhythm disturbances. The studies conducted are indicative of the necessity of complex treatment for all patients with atrial fibrillation to predict cerebral stroke and vascular dementia.
